SYNCHRONIZED VIDEO

Pinnacle’s SYNCHRONIZED VIDEO SYSTEM can simultaneously record up to four cameras on a single computer. Video is automatically synchronized within synchronized to EEG, EMG, or biosensor data for an accurate visual representation of animal activity and behavior. The synchronized video package is compatible with all Pinnacle hardware systems. Order it as an accessory to a new system, or easily integrate it into your current Pinnacle setup. In addition it may also be used as a stand-alone video system.

SYNCHRONIZED VIDEO

The SYNCHRONIZED VIDEO SYSTEM consists of two components — a base computer package and a camera package. This allows users to customize the video system to fit any experimental paradigm. Together, the base computer and camera packages provide everything you need to incorporate video capture into your research.

The base package includes a computer preconfigured to ensure optimal performance and synchronization. Up to four cameras can be used with a base computer package.

Three camera options are available, Each camera purchased includes a video license for unlocking synchronized video functionality in Sirenia^® Acquisition.

BASE COMPUTER PACKAGE

The base computer package includes a computer that is preconfigured with ample hard disk storage and the necessary specifications to ensure optimal video resolution and synchronization with EEG/EMG and/or biosensor data. Up to four cameras can be connected to a single computer.

OPTION 1: DOME CAMERA

Pinnacle’s dome camera mounts above the cage. Its built-in infrared illumination adjusts to lighting conditions automatically, allowing recording in reduced lighting and complete darkness.

OPTION 2: BOX CAMERA

The box camera has improved optics, as well as flexibility in mounting options. A separate, automatic infrared illumination source allows video capture in low light and complete darkness.

OPTION 3: HD CAMERA

The high definition (HD) Internet protocol (IP) camera includes all the features of the box camera with the added capability of recording at six times the resolution. The camera uses a single cable for power and data transfer.

ADVANCED ANALYSIS SOFTWARE

Upgrade from our basic software, included with the video system, to automate your seizure identification and sleep scoring processes. Both SIRENIA^® SEIZURE PRO and SIRENIA^® SLEEP PRO synchronize video capture with EEG, EMG, and biosensor data. The Pro packages are a great way to quickly analyze your files while using video capture to confirm sleep and seizure events.

SIRENIA^® SEIZURE PRO provides a platform for quickly identifying and analyzing user-defined seizure events over a given time period.

SIRENIA^® SLEEP PRO reduces scoring time by automating the process with tools such as cluster scoring, hypnograms, and spectral
analysis.
